Food and wine are fundamental ingredients to an excellent chalet holiday and as such we choose our wines carefully to complement our food as well as for their high quality.
We are delighted to continue working with Paul Boyer who has been our preferred wine producer for many years now. Paul is based in the Languedoc area of France and from here, produces his own boutique Paul Boyer wines, whilst also working with other well-known producers in the region.
Each evening your chalet staff will recommend wines to partner the evening meal. All of our wines have been selected through Paul for their qualities as food wines. However, if you would like to enjoy a glass of wine as an aperitif, then we highly recommend our “House” wines which are both delicious and very easy to drink!

Blanquette de Limoux Reserve, Antech
From the world's first sparkling wine region, this is a dry, crisp, and fruity southern French sparkler. A lovely, light and refreshing fizz that is the perfect partner for canapés.
House White - Domaine Antech Chardonnay 2017
A delicious, fresh and easy drinking Chardonnay from Limoux, in South-West France. For our guests who might not normally like a Chardonnay, we would urge you to try this one!
Sauvignon Blanc Alicia 2017
A very popular wine with our guests, Paul’s Sauvignon Blanc gets better and better. Delicate and zingy, the Sauvignon Alicia (the name of Paul’s eldest daughter) expresses notes of citrus fruits, pineapple and fresh flowers. We would recommend this to partner one of our favourite starters, pumpkin risotto.
Claude Val Blanc 2017
A beautiful, medium bodied and fruity wine which is a blend of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Mausac and Viognier. Great with fish.
Tutti Fruti de l’Arrogant Frog Blanc 2017
A fresh and lively wine, showcasing everything that is superb about Languedoc wines. It is a blend of Vermentino, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay which goes perfectly with goats cheese salad.
House red – Le Cabernet Sauvignon Domaine Saint Preignan 2017
A light, medium bodied 100% Cabernet sauvignon with aromas of green pepper, liquorice and ripe black fruits. Easy drinking and perfect as an aperitif.
Claude Val Rouge 2017
Blend of Merlot, Syrah, Grenache and Carignan. Medium bodied with aromas of soft spices, ripe cherry, raspberry, plum and liquorice. Try it with slow cooked pork belly.
Le Vin Naturel VV Rouge by Paul Boyer 2013/2014
This wonderful red wine has plenty of power and elegance. It reveals an intense bouquet of red berries, eucalyptus, chocolate and Mediterranean spices. Perfect match for the beef cheeks, one of Meriski’s signature dishes.
Le Tutti Fruti de l’Arrogant Frog Rouge 2017
A smooth and fruity wine which is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. Really easy drinking on its own but also partners the Savoyard evening dishes very well.
