Meet Liz, our Host In Chalet L'Ardour. Here she shares with us her top Méribel tips.
Name: Liz Hughes
Role: Chalet Host
Is this your first season? I did a season two years ago in a private chalet in Chamonix, but this is my first season with Meriski.
Favourite Meriski Chalet? Chalet Phoebe, it’s a luxury chalet but also has a homely feel.
Favourite Méribel/Mountain Restaurant? In Méribel Aux Petits Oignons, the service is fantastic and the food is amazing!
I‘ve not been but most of my guests have been to the mountain restaurant, Le Clos Bernard - it's definitely a favourite with them.
Favourite Ski Area/Piste? Les Menuires - the secret side! Hardly ever anyone there and the pistes are long and fun to get some speed on!
Favourite Après spot? It has to be The Ronnie!
Top Méribel Tip? Make the most of being at the heart of the Three Valleys and explore all the other resorts. La Tania, in particular, has a fantastic run down through the trees (Folyeres) and you can reward yourself at the end of it with a stop for a coffee or something stronger!
Chalet L'Ardour has an enviable location just 150m from the piste and only a few minutes walk into town! L'Ardour is available on 16th April for £4000. Or why not take advantage of our Early Booking Offer and get your January Ski holiday booked up for next year?
