Whilst we don’t want to wish away the warm weather that the UK is currently enjoying, we can’t help but be a little excited that the next ski season is creeping ever closer!
So, we thought it was about time that we gave you an update on all the news from us here at Meriski.
Chalet Le Pousse Caillou
We are delighted to be introducing Chalet Le Pousse Caillou to our portfolio for this season. The chalet has just been completely refurbished and is looking superb!
Le Pousse Caillou is an excellent choice for families with two Suites - one having an interconnecting children’s bedroom and the other, a mezzanine floor accessed via a ladder/staircase.
With an open plan living and dining area, separate TV room and stunning outdoor sunken hot tub, there is plenty of space to unwind after a day on the slopes.
If you are looking for a traditional alpine chalet with a stylish and contemporary twist, look no further!
The apartment can sleep two adults and two children and is available as additional accommodation to Chalet Kalliste or as a private apartment, on a self-catered basis.
Chalet Kashmir’s Massage Room
Next door, Kalliste’s sister chalet, Chalet Kashmir, has also had an update for this season with a new massage room - what better excuse to book a post-ski treatment to ease those aching limbs! Meriski Airport Transfers
If you are not sure of the best way to get to Meribel, please do get in touch and let us help you. With our many years of experience we can advise you on all the best travel options and, new for this year, we are delighted to be offering Meriski airport transfers in our own, comfortable and air-conditioned VW minibuses, seating up to 8 people.
Over the summer months one of our key jobs is recruiting our seasonal staff – we believe putting together the right team is fundamental to our guests’ holiday enjoyment.
This year we have expanded our resort management team and will have a Head Chef and Guest Services Manager to further enhance our Meriski service. They will be supporting our Resort Managers, Ken and Sam, along with our Chalet and Childcare Manager and Transport Manager.
Richard, last year’s chef in Impala Lodge, will be returning as our Head Chef. He will be responsible for training and overseeing the chalet chefs to ensure that our guests enjoy the finest food and dining experiences.
In addition, Harry, who also worked in Impala Lodge last year, will be our Guest Services manager. Harry will be the first point of contact for our guests before they arrive to discuss any requests or requirements. He will also visit guests in their chalet on the day of their arrival and act as our concierge in resort for any arrangements that guests require.
