Chalet Chefs & Hosts

Each Meriski chalet has a Chalet Chef and a Chalet Host who are jointly responsible for running a luxury chalet, including cooking, cleaning and hosting their guests. Applicants can be individuals or couples:

  • Chefs must have extensive cooking experience, being able to cater to an extremely high standard for approximately 12 people
  • You must have relevant hospitality experience
  • You must possess good organisational skills and the ability to work within and manage a budget
  • You must have excellent interpersonal skills and high standards in customer service
  • You must have an unflappable nature and an extremely flexible approach to their work

    You must care and take pride in your work
  • Chalet Host
  • Relief Chalet Host

Nannies

Meriski offers a range of childcare services for ages 3 months to 12 years, including our fully equipped crëche, Merikids club (7-12 year olds), and a private in-chalet nanny service. Applicants should:

  • Have an NNEB or equivalent qualification
  • Have extensive and relevant childcare experience
  • Offer a varied activity programme with a 'can do' approach
  • Be as comfortable with interacting with parents as with children.
  • Have an unflappable nature and be able to work well as part of the childcare team
