Job Title: Chalet Host
Overview aim of job:
Provide excellent hospitality, food service and assistance to guests in order to ensure that they have a problem free holiday that exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Catering
- Provide cooked breakfast, afternoon tea, canapés and four course evening dinner with appropriate wines, drinks and coffee, in accordance with the brochure.
- Ensure all guests’ dietary requirements are understood and catered for.
- Set dining table appropriately for each meal in accordance with Meriski training.
- Prepare balanced food for children's lunches in accordance with specified menu (served by childcare staff).
- Provide children's early dinner as appropriate.
Service
- Ensure that our guests enjoy a holiday experience which exceeds their expectations.
- Create a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere for the guests and their children.
- Look after the general welfare of our guests.
- Give appropriate information to enable guests to get the most out of their holiday.
Housekeeping & Maintenance
- Maintain a clean and tidy chalet, observing the highest standards set out by Meriski, make beds, service bedrooms and bathrooms daily, change linen as instructed by Operations Manager.
- Re-stack, light fire and clean grate on a daily basis.
- Clean chalet windows on a weekly basis.
- Adhere to Company hygiene standards.
Budgets & Administration
- Complete all company paperwork accurately, punctually and neatly as directed by your manager - weekly order pack, weekly food and drink stock take. Monthly housekeeping stock take.
- Be responsible for cost and stock control within the chalet budget.
- Provide weekly accounts and weekly menu plans.
Company Image
- Project a professional company image at all times.
- When on duty wear the correct company uniform at all times and ensure that your personal grooming is always of the highest standard.
